NT: Police question Joanne Lees again
Northern Territory detectives have again interviewed JOANNE LEES about the murder ofher boyfriend PETER FALCONIO in central Australia last year.
Two detectives flew to the United Kingdom to question Ms LEES, who escaped the gunmanwho is believed to have murdered Mr FALCONIO north of Alice Springs on July 14.
Northern Territory Assistant Police Commissioner JOHN DAULBY says there were a numberof things police wanted to clarify with Ms LEES pertaining to her initial statements.
While in the UK, police also visited Mr FALCONIO's relatives who repeated their desirethat his body be found.
Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a South Australian remand prisoner ona charge of murdering Mr FALCONIO.
